About Uninfluenced Labs

You've been on your phone for 11 minutes reading about some supplement. You're not sure if you actually need it or if the algorithm just got to you.

We've all been there. TikTok wellness, Instagram reels, Facebook groups, gym buddies who swear by something, chiropractors recommending a full cart of supplements — health information is everywhere, and most of it is trying to sell you something.

Uninfluenced Labs exists for the moment after you close the app and think: okay but does this actually work?

What We Actually Do

We read the studies so you don't have to. Every article starts with the claim — exactly how you heard it — then goes into what peer-reviewed research actually says, what the limitations are, and whether it's worth your money and attention.

No sponsorships. No brand deals. No affiliate kick-backs that skew our recommendations. We do use affiliate links on Amazon (we'll always tell you when we do), but we'd say the same thing either way — we just happen to get a small cut if you buy.

The goal is simple: be the friend who actually read the studies and can give you a straight answer without being annoying about it.

How We Rate Evidence

✅ Strong evidence — Multiple randomized controlled trials with consistent results and decent sample sizes. If something hits this bar, we'll say so clearly.

🟡 Mixed or early evidence — A few studies that look promising but haven't been confirmed at scale. Worth watching, maybe worth trying — but don't bet the farm.

🚫 Weak or no evidence — Mostly anecdote, animal studies, or one tiny trial that hasn't been replicated. The hype is running ahead of the science.

What We're Not

  • We're not doctors. Nothing here is medical advice.
  • We're not anti-supplement. Some stuff actually works and we'll tell you when it does.
  • We're not here to dunk on influencers. Most of them believe what they're saying — they just don't have time to read 12 studies before hitting record.
  • We're not going to tell you what to do. We'll tell you what the evidence says and let you decide.

Some articles include links to products on Amazon. If you click one and buy something, we earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. We use these to keep the lights on.

Our editorial stance never changes based on affiliate relationships. We cover topics because people are talking about them, not because someone paid us to. If the evidence is weak, we say so, even if we link to the product below.
